درود بر شما دوست عزیز. در مورد قسمت اول سخنان شما؛ متاسفانه بسیاری از الگوهای پرکاربرد در ویکی واژه هستند که قدیمی شده و احتیاج به بروزرسانی هایی بعضا عمده دارند و از آنجایی که اکثر این الگوها قفل هستند کار را برای من خیلی سخت می کند اگر دانه دانه آنها را از مدیر دیگری بخواهم که ویرایش کند. همچنین الگوهای زیادی داریم که باید با دقت ایجاد شوند و چون حساس هستند و درصورت استفاده از آنها باید برای جلوگیری از خرابکاری (که به طور عجیبی در اینجا زیاد هستند) قفل شوند و همچنین الگوهای حساس هم داریم که هنوز قفل نشده و باید قفل شوند.
همچنین آمار خرابکاری اینجا نیز بالاست. البته مشهدی عزیز خوب از پسشان بر می آید، اما خوب دست تنها بودن و سر زدن زیاد من به اینجا می تواند این مشکل را به حداقل برساند.
نکته ای دیگری هم وجود دارد انجام ویرایش در فایل های مدیا ویکی است. این فایل ها که که ابزارهای خارق العاده ای را میتوان باهاشان اجرا کرد (یک مقایسه میان لیست ترجیحاتتان در اینجا و در ویکی پدیای فارسی بکنید) و فقط یک مدیر میتواند این ابزارها را راه اندازی یا فعال کند، که البته راه اندازی های این ابزارها احتیاج به حوصله زیاد و وقت میخواهد.
در مورد قسمت دوم سخنانتان نیز کاملا موافقم. و در صورت آمادگی مشهدی عزیز قصد ساخت واژه جدید را با ربات داریم. که صدالبته ساخت لغت با ربات بسیار راحتر از دستی است. در مورد ربات هم برروی چشم.
در مورد نظرخواهی هم متاسفانه ندیده بودمش. و به رسم قدیم، اینجا درخواست دادم. حال میتوان انتقالش داد البته اگر تاریخچه اش به مشکل بر نخورد.
و در آخر هم سوتفاهم نشود. اگر من بتوانم دسترسی مدیریتی بگیرم، به دلیل حساس بودن تمامی ابزارها و الگوهایی را که ایجاد یا ویرایش میکنم اگر اطمینان حاصل نکنم که به درستی کار می کنند واگردانی یا پاکشان می کنم. ممنون از شما/مهدیگـــــــــــــپ‍ ‏۳۱ دسامبر ۲۰۱۲، ساعت ۰۵:۲۰ (UTC)[پاسخ]

Be a Wikimedia fundraising "User Experience" volunteer! ویرایش

Thank you to everyone who volunteered last year on the Wikimedia fundraising 'User Experience' project. We have talked to many different people in different countries and their feedback has helped us immensely in restructuring our pages. If you haven't heard of it yet, the 'User Experience' project has the goal of understanding the donation experience in different countries (outside the USA) and enhancing the localization of our donation pages.

I am (still) searching for volunteers to spend some time on a Skype chat with me, reviewing their own country's donation pages. It will be done on a 'usability' format (I will ask you to read the text and go through the donation flow) and will be asking your feedback in the meanwhile.

The only pre-requisite is for the volunteer to actually live in the country and to have access to at least one donation method that we offer for that country (mainly credit/debit card, but also real time banking like IDEAL, E-wallets, etc...) so we can do a live test and see if the donation goes through. **All volunteers will be reimbursed of the donations that eventually succeed (and they will be very low amounts, like 1-2 dollars)**

من نمی دانم این سایت‌ها چگونه کار می‌کنند چون دهخدا هم مانند ویکی‌واژه قابل ویرایش است و احتمال می‌دهم صفحاتی که قطعی شده باشد را قفل می‌کنند کاش از این بابت مطمئن شده باشید که آیا صفحه را ویراستاران اصلی دهخدا نوشته‌اند یا کاربران معمولی. در مورد آدرس دقیق به نظر من بهتر است که آدرس دقیق داده شود تا فرد با کلیک بر روی آدرس به متن واژه نامه اصلی برسد نه اینکه خودش مجبور شود از آغاز جستجو کند. ممنون از همکاری تان --یه صبح خوب (بحث) ‏۱۱ فوریهٔ ۲۰۱۳، ساعت ۱۴:۴۹ (UTC)[پاسخ]

پیشنهاد جهت بهبود و ارتقای کیفی و کمی ویکی‌واژه ویرایش

  • با سلام. با کمال تأسف باید گفت که ویکی‌واژه، سراسر آمیخته با خلط و اشتباه است و نیاز به یک لایروبی اساسی دارد. اکثر این خطاها نیز ناشی از انتقال نادرست اطلاعات از فرهنگ معین به ویکی‌واژه است. یعنی کاربران هنگام انتقال اطلاعات، دقت لازم را نداشته‌اند و خطاهای بی‌شماری، فقط هنگام انتقال، به ویکی راه پیدا کرده است.
این خطاها شامل غلط‌های تایپی و املایی، تلفظ نادرست، نقش دستوری نادرست، معانی نادرست، انتقال ندادن برخی معانی، انتقال ندادن برخی مدخل‌ها، از قلم‌افتادگی و غیره می‌شود (برای اطلاع از تعدادی از این اشتباهات بنگرید به مدخل‌هایی که بنده اخیراً ویرایش کرده‌ام: کالیو، حقنه، اروس، صلیب، آگهی، چلیپا، غنج، شرنگ و...). البته خود فرهنگ معین نیز نیاز به ویرایش دارد ولی اول باید اطلاعات را درست وارد کنیم و بعداً ویرایش نهایی را صورت دهیم. برای رفع این مشکل، بهترین راهکار آن است که واژگان ویکی را با فرهنگ معین، مقابله کنیم و آنگاه اشکالات موجود را تصحیح کنیم. اگر بتوانید جهت این مهم، بودجه‌ای را تخصیص دهید، بنده مسئولیت این کار را به عهده می‌گیرم و طی پروژه‌ای چندماهه، تمامی ۵۸ هزار سرواژهٔ ویکی‌واژه را با فرهنگ معین مقابله کرده و اشکالات را اصلاح می‌کنم. پیشبرد و ارتقای زبان فارسی، ارزش چنین سرمایه‌گذاری‌ای را دارد (البته ناگفته نماند که آن نسخه از فرهنگ معین که در اینجا مورد استفاده قرار گرفته، ۴۳ هزار واژه دارد). الدورادو (بحث) ‏۱۶ فوریهٔ ۲۰۱۳، ساعت ۱۰:۴۱ (UTC)[پاسخ]

  • بنده با دلایل و شواهد متقن می‌توانم ثابت کنم که ویکی‌واژه دارای مشکلات و نقایص زیربنایی و اساسی است که عمدتاً ناشی از انتقال نادرست داده‌ها از فرهنگ معین می‌باشد. حال فرقی نمی‌کند که توسط کاربران ایجاد شده یا ربات‌ها. اتفاقاً اگر توسط ربات باشد که قضیه حادتر می‌شود.
برای نمونه فقط به یکی از غلط‌های شایع که از قضا توسط همان ربات بی‌نقص! صورت گرفته اشاره می‌کنم. ربات مزبور، حروف انتهایی بسیاری از کلماتی را که در پایان جمله قرار دارند، جدا کرده و به عنوان یک نشانۀ اختصاری! قلمداد کرده و طبق آن نشانۀ اختصاریِ جعلی، نقش نادرست یا ریشه‌شناسی نادرست به واژۀ مورد نظر داده است. مثلاً اگر حرف جداشده، «ق» باشد از آن نقش دستوری «قید» را برداشت کرده و در کنار واژه ثبت کرده است. اگر «ع» باشد از آن ریشۀ «عربی» استنتاج کرده و در کنار واژه ثبت کرده است. این قضیه باعث شده است که بسیاری از کلمات فارسی به غلط، عربی درج شوند، مانند بادبان، زد و خورد، افتادگی و سودمندی (برای درک درست این فرآیند، حتماً سری به این مدخل‌ها بزنید). این تنها یکی از اشتباهات کوچک! این ربات است. همین مشکل کوچک، مانند یک ویروس به تمامی بخش‌های ویکی‌واژه سرایت کرده و حتی رده‌ها و زیررده‌ها را هم آلوده کرده است. خیلی دوست داشتم که مثل شما به این قضیه خوشبینانه نگاه کنم ولی شواهد امر، خلاف این را نشان می‌دهد. الدورادو (بحث) ‏۱۶ فوریهٔ ۲۰۱۳، ساعت ۱۷:۱۶ (UTC)[پاسخ]
آن مشکل هم بر اساس مدخل ورودی داده ها نبوده (آنجا را میگویم بی نقص است) و ربات ساخته شان. مشکل از اصلاحاتی به نام اصلاح بر پایه شیوه نامه که توسط زبات انجام شده است. که چون بر روی تعداد لغات زیادی اجرا شده نتیجه های متفاوت داشته. باید دید این مشکل فقط به تعداد همین مقالات محدود می شود و یا اینکه نه خیلی ها این مشکل را دارند، که مطابق آن باید ویرایش ها را خنثی سازی کرد و یا اینکه مشکلی ندارند /مهدی بحث ‏۱۷ فوریهٔ ۲۰۱۳، ساعت ۰۴:۲۵ (UTC)[پاسخ]

سری به مدخل «حاضر» بزنید. این واژه، نمونۀ مناسبی از عمق آلودگی در ویکی‌واژه است، چرا که بسیاری از خطاها را یک‌جا در خود جمع دارد. با هم این خطاها را مرور می‌کنیم:
1. ربات مزبور، حروف آخر کلمۀ «مستعد» یعنی «عد» را یک نشانۀ اختصاری به معنای «عدد» قلمداد کرده است.
2. واژۀ انتهای جمله یعنی «است» را یک نشانۀ اختصاری به معنای «استعاره» قلمداد کرده است.
3. حرف اختصاری «مق.» را که به معنای «مقایسه کنید» می‌باشد از هم جدا کرده و «م» آن را به عنوان یک تعریف برای «حاضر» ثبت کرده است و «ق» آن را به معنای «قید» گرفته است.
4. واژۀ «غایب» را به عنوان یک تعریف برای «حاضر» ثبت کرده است، در حالی که در اصل به معنای «مقایسه کنید با غایب» بوده است.
5. نقش اسم فاعل (اِفا.) که در فرهنگ معین نگاشته شده است، در اینجا ثبت نشده است.
6. در فرهنگ معین برای این واژه، سه معنی نوشته شده است ولی در اینجا پنج معنی نوشته شده است که هیچ کدام هم واضح و مشخص نیست.
7. ریشه‌شناسی این واژه ارائه نشده است.
8. وقتی روی گزینۀ عربی کلیک می‌کنیم، نه تنها هیچ معنایی از واژه نمی‌بینیم، بلکه حتی آن را جزو ردۀ «عدد عربی» می‌یابیم که یقیناً خطاست.
9. در مورد تلفظ: حرکت حرف «ض» مشخص نشده است، که البته این اشکال در فرهنگ معین هم وجود داشت.
10. هیچ رده‌ای برای این واژه تعریف نشده است.
در ضمن اگر به قسمت «نمایش تاریخچۀ» این مدخل بروید، متوجه خواهید شد که تمامی این خطاها در اولین ویرایش این واژه، یعنی 11 ژوئن 2011 و هنگام درون‌ریزی خودکار مقاله‌ها هم وجود داشته است و ارتباطی به ویرایش‌های رباتِ اصلاح بر پایۀ شیوه‌نامه ندارد.
این یک مدخل از هزاران مدخلی است که به چنین مشکلاتی مبتلا شده‌اند. برای آشنایی با نمونه‌های بیشتری از این دست، من فقط تعدادی از مدخل‌هایی را که به خاطر جدا کردن حروف انتهاییِ واژگان پایان جمله، به غلط به «عدد» منتسب شده‌اند در ذیل ذکر می‌کنم: قاعده، مرز، حاضر، هتک، پیش، پشت، بن، عقب، است، قبل، روده، بازنشستگی، ازیز، بشک، شخولیدن، سپس، پشک، نکباء، کلاله، ابعد، آن گاه، بلعم، سافله، ساعده، مرغول، ماقبل، من بعد، موعد، مواعد، نابدتر، ناجور، هره و چند مورد دیگر. بدیهی است مدخل‌هایی که دچار سایر مشکلات هستند، از حد احصا و شمارش خارج است و در اینجا مجال ذکر آنها نیست. الدورادو (بحث) ‏۱۸ فوریهٔ ۲۰۱۳، ساعت ۰۸:۰۸ (UTC)[پاسخ]

Greetings. As you might have seen on the Wikimedia tech blog or the tech ambassadors list, a new functionality called "Lua" is being enabled on all Wikimedia sites today. Lua is a scripting language that enables you to write faster and more powerful MediaWiki templates.

If you have questions about how to convert existing templates to Lua (or how to create new ones), we'll be holding two support sessions on IRC next week: one on Wednesday (for Oceania, Asia & America) and one on Friday (for Europe, Africa & America); see m:IRC office hours for the details. There is a new request for comment on Meta-Wiki concerning the removal of administrative rights from long-term inactive Wikimedians. Generally, this proposal from stewards would apply to wikis without an administrators' review process.

We are also compiling a list of projects with procedures for removing inactive administrators on the talk page of the request for comment. Feel free to add your project(s) to the list if you have a policy on administrator inactivity.

The default position of the "edit" link in page section headers is going to change soon. The "edit" link will be positioned adjacent to the page header text rather than floating opposite it.

Section edit links will be to the immediate right of section titles, instead of on the far right. It is often difficult to track which of several potential section edit links on the far right is associated with the correct section, and many readers and anonymous or new editors may even be failing to notice section edit links at all, since they read section titles, which are far away from the links.

On July 9, 2013, Universal Language Selector (ULS) will be enabled on this wiki. The ULS provides a flexible way to configure and deliver language settings like interface language, fonts, and input methods (keyboard mappings). Pywikipedia is migrating to git ویرایش

Hello, Sorry for English but It's very important for bot operators so I hope someone translates this. Pywikipedia is migrating to Git so after July 26, SVN checkouts won't be updated If you're using Pywikipedia you have to switch to git, otherwise you will use out-dated framework and your bot might not work properly. There is a manual for doing that and a blog post explaining about this change in non-technical language. The Wikimedia Foundation's editor engagement team developed this tool (code-named 'Echo') earlier this year, to help users contribute more productively to MediaWiki projects.

We're now getting ready to bring Notifications to almost all other Wikimedia sites, and are aiming for a 22 October deployment, as outlined in this release plan. It is important that notifications is translated for all of the languages we serve.

Speak up about the trademark registration of the Community logo. ویرایش

Hi all,

Please join the consultation about the Community logo that represents Meta-Wiki: m:Community Logo/Request for consultation.

This community consultation was commenced on September 24. The following day, two individuals filed a legal opposition against the registration of the Community logo.

The question is whether the Wikimedia Foundation should seek a collective membership mark with respect to this logo or abandon its registration and protection of the trademark.

We want to make sure that everyone get a chance to speak up so that we can get clear direction from the community. We would therefore really appreciate the community's help in translating this announcement from English so that everyone is able to understand it.

Introducting Beta Features ویرایش

We would like to let you know about Beta Features, a new program from the Wikimedia Foundation that lets you try out new features before they are released for everyone.

Think of it as a digital laboratory where community members can preview upcoming software and give feedback to help improve them. This special preference page lets designers and engineers experiment with new features on a broad scale, but in a way that's not disruptive.

Beta Features is now ready for testing on MediaWiki.org. It will also be released on Wikimedia Commons and MetaWiki this Thursday, 7 November. Based on test results, the plan is to release it on all wikis worldwide on 21 November, 2013.

Here are the first features you can test this week:
